Overview

A permit is required for the addition of any egress window.

Homeowners wishing to pull their own permits, must physically reside at the address where the work will be done.

Cautionary Statement to Owners obtaining Building Permits, for homeowners submitting their own permit application
One copy of construction plans with window and framing details.
Plans must show:
- a side view with depth of window well and height of window from floor
- an overhead view with distance of window well from foundation
- location of the proposed egress window on the existing structure
One plat of survey with location of egress window and window well indicated
