Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the installation, maintenance and administration of all computers, servers, networks, security cameras, city phone system, cellular devices, network security, websites, databases, geographic information systems (GIS) and software packages as required by the various departments.

IT services the City Hall, Library, Department of Public Works, Park Facilities, Police and Fire departments. Service and support on all systems is provided by a staffed in house Help Desk with 24/7 on call availability to emergency services. Additionally, IT offers training as requested by other departments, as well as for new technology and software. One of IT’s primary goals is to ensure that technology is utilized to improve daily operations across all levels and constantly improve systems as best practices and software needs change over time.
