Smoke Alarm Distribution Program

We have a limited supply of smoke alarms available to residents. To request a smoke alarm please go to the Smoke Alarm Page to fill out our request form.  The smoke alarms are free of charge to Oak Creek residents but must be installed by the fire department.

Permits and Inspections

The Oak Creek Fire Department performs annual fire inspections as well as site and systems plan reviews, including those for alarm and sprinkler systems.  We partner with Fire Safety Consultants for fire detection and suppression system reviews.

Alterations or additions to alarm and sprinkler systems, as defined below are reviewed by the Oak Creek Fire Department.  Please use the form located on the Permits and Inspection page when submitting your request.

1.  20 or fewer sprinkler heads to an existing automatic fire sprinkler system
2.  20 or fewer alarm devices to an existing fire alarm system

All other plan reviews and submissions need to go through Fire Safety Consultants.
