Family, Civic, Work, and Educational Background:

I grew up in Racine and Caledonia but moved to Oak Creek with my wife Karen in 1982. Karen and I have been married for 40 years and have two children, Jennifer and Jason, who attended Oak Creek Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

I previously served as 3^rd district Alderman from 2012 to 2015. I served on the Oak Creek Community Development Authority from 2002 to 2015 and am currently a founding member of the Oak Creek Tourism Commission from 2018 to the present.

I have spent most of my career in management in a family-owned industrial distribution firm in Franksville and Racine- All Tool Sales, All Fasteners, and most recently, All Integrated Solutions (AIS-an MSC company).   I retired as CEO of AIS in 2019 to pursue a doctorate degree in business and start a family business consulting firm- JPR Global Partners, LLC.  

Educational background:

Florida Institute of Technology- Associate of Science – Oceanography. (1978)                                                                  

University of Wisconsin-Parkside- Bachelor in Geography and urban planning. (1980)

The University of Chicago- Masters in Business Administration (MBA). (1989)                                                                                                                        

Oklahoma State University – Ph.D. in Business Administration. (2023)

I ran for Alderman for the same reason I have served on the CDA and the Tourism Commission since 2002: I believe taking an active role in the success of our community is essential.

• I support our Police, Firefighters, and first responders' efforts to maintain a safe- family environment for Oak Creek residents.
• Support responsible business development to help lower homeowners' property tax burdens.
• Along with Oak Creek Parents and Teachers – I support our schools and community organizations to build a solid educational system for our kids and the community.
• Help Oak Creek businesses and job growth by attracting tourism and business growth to our city.
• Work to improve the quality of life for Oak Creek citizens.
• Be an advocate for the residents of the 3^rd district of Oak Creek.
