Spring Cleanup

  • Date: 05/15/2024  (all day)

The DPW will conduct their spring cleanup beginning on Wednesday, May 15 for residential homes or condos that have City-provided garbage and recycling pickup.

There is no charge for this pickup, but there is a charge for freon appliances and televisions. This fee will need to be pre-paid prior to May15. Payment can be made in person at the Department of Public Works at 800 W. Puetz Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. CASH or CHECK ONLY. You may also mail your payment to this same address along with your name, address, phone number and a list of what it needs to be picked up. See below for fees.

Residents are required to have their items at the curb or roadside by 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15 in order to be guaranteed a pickup. Once crews pass through your neighborhood, they will not return for additional no-charge pickups until the fall cleanup on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

[Note: Different trucks pick up different types of items . . . so do not be alarmed if all of the items you leave out are not picked up at once!]
