Meet your Market Manager

Given the incredible opportunity to create a vibrant community-wide 24-week event  for Oak Creek, longtime resident and current City Planning Commissioner, Dawn Carrillo, proudly continues as Market Manager for the 6th year 2023 farmers market season.

In collaboration with the city's outstanding public service departments and businesses in Drexel Town Square, Dawn and her team are excited to bring a unique farmers market to southeastern Wisconsin—while educating residents on why quality, locally grown food matters.

"Our 2022 market shattered all our goals," states Carrillo. "Our vendors sold over $700,000. in produce and products to the community. Our FoodShare match program is strong offering a $20 match each week, our free children's programing and healthy eating initiatives are supported by local businesses. Our incredible farmers and vendors have made the Oak Creek market a destination for my city and the surrounding communities. Spend each Saturday morning with us shopping for your weeks groceries. Let the kids run through the splash pad, while you listen to live music. Enjoy a coffee or Bloody Mary while you walk the square. Bring your dog. The perfect weekend starts every Saturday in Oak Creek."
