The Oak Creek Farmers Market prides itself in making the market accessible for all. We offer the following every Saturday:

  • Parking spots at Drexel Town Square marked for handicap parking at the Farmers Market.Five reserved parking spots for handicap parking southeast corner of the square with two additional spots with traffic cones, so that vans can safely unload. These spots are next to a sidewalk ramp.
  • Ramps on every corner of the market and throughout the square.
  • Volunteers every week to help blind individuals navigate the market and vendors or people with a physical disability needing help carrying items.
  • Vendor placement on pavement for easy wheelchair and walker access to each booth.
  •  Expansive Market spread out over two city blocks and town square, allowing extra room on each street and between vendors.

A white-haired woman wearing sunglasses and a green Oak Creek Farmers Market t-shirt smiles broadly as she shops the market with the aid of a blue walker.

  • Snap and WIC (family and seniors) match program up to $20 each week.
  • Indoor, handicapped-accessible restrooms. There are two restrooms available: on Town Square Way next to Gigi’s Cupcakes, and one inside City Hall on the south side of the square. Both have proper handrails and larger stalls.
  • Air-conditioned areas to cool off: The Oak Creek Civic Center is just feet from the market.
  • Wheelchair-accessible Splash Pad with shade areas.
  • Metal wheelchair-friendly picnic tables placed near the sidewalk for easy accessibility.
  • Milwaukee County bus line access, steps away from the Market.
