Overview

The razing of any building within the city requires a permit.  For specific information regarding the razing of garages or sheds less than 500 square feet see FAQ below.

Application Requirements

  • Raze Permit Application
  • Plumbing Permit - for abandonment of laterals.  Abandonment and inspection must be completed prior to issuance of raze permit
  • Surety Bond
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance
  • WE Energies Electric & Gas Disconnect confirmation
  • Well abandonment report – if present
  • Septic report – if present
  • Asbestos removal report - non-residential properties only
  • Payment – See application for current fees
