Overview

A permit is required to install, alter, or replace any indoor fixtures (water heaters, dishwashers, kitchen sinks, toilets, lavatories, etc.), outdoor / underground plumbing needs (storm sewers, water service, etc.), abandonments, private onsite wastewater treatment systems (P.O.W.T. S.), private well conversions to City water needs, and back flow prevention.

A Public Right-of-Way permit must be approved before any excavation in any street, alley or other public way may begin. Contact the Engineering Department for more information.

Homeowners wishing to pull their own permits, must physically reside at the address where the work will be done.
