Road Care Responsibilities Map

Citizens are sometimes not aware the City of Oak Creek does not maintain all of the roads within the City. Road maintenance includes such things as pothole patching, road repairs, striping, grass cutting, snow plowing, and salting operations. To help determine which governmental entity performs maintenance within the City, please refer to the map above. You should also be aware that some streets in the City are the responsibility of a private entity. When reporting a problem, please make sure you contact the correct governmental entity.

  • City of Oak Creek road maintenance requests can be made by calling 414-570-5682 or by submitting a Citizen's Request for Action.
  • Roads maintained by the State or County can be reported to the Milwaukee County Department of Public works by calling 414-257-6566.
