Mission Statement
The City of Oak Creek prides itself on the quality of its services and on its efforts to meet the needs of its citizens. The Oak Creek Health Department is a major contributor to this effort. The Health Department is committed to improving the health and well-being of Oak Creek residents through communicable disease surveillance, prevention and control, generalized public health nursing program, health promotion, disease prevention, and human health hazard prevention and control (Administrative Rule HFS 140). In addition, the Health Department provides programming involving assessment, education, policy development and assurance (Wis. Stat. 251).

To be the leader in providing valuable resources, public health and environmental health services while fostering community partnerships to ensure and promote the health of our growing and diverse community.
Mission
To promote health, prevent disease and injury, and provide a healthy environment for the individual, family and community.
Oak Creek Board of Health
The Board of Health was created in 1973. It is an advisory and policy making committee for the Health Department.
