Benefits
Wages and benefits for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic are negotiated by the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1848.
These benefits include:

The Oak Creek Fire Department offers pay and vacation time considerations for qualified lateral transfers with at least two years of experience as a fulltime firefighter. Please contact the department for more information.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Graduate, Associates Degree preferred
- Valid unrestricted Wisconsin Driver's License
- Certified as a State of Wisconsin Paramedic or proof of enrollment in paramedic program
- Nationally Registered Paramedic or proof of enrollment in paramedic program
- Certified as a State of Wisconsin Firefighter I
- Certified as a State of Wisconsin Firefighter II (required within 24 months of hire)
- Certified as a State of Wisconsin Driver/Operator (required as assigned)
- Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) dated no later than 1 year prior from conditional offer
(Paramedic students are encouraged to apply)
