The blowing and/or shoveling of snow onto City streets is a violation of the Municipal Code and is subject to ticketing. Property owners are required to clear their mailboxes and fire hydrants of snow and ice. Sidewalks also are required to be cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after such snow or ice has ceased to fall or accumulate. To report a sidewalk that has not been cleared of snow/ice, contact the Engineering Department or enter a Citizens Request for Action.
