Source: Wisconsin Department of Health Services - Testing data represents the number of people tested by the diagnostic test that detects the virus in the nose or throat (and not a blood test that detects antibodies). Multiple tests per person are not included in these summary statistics.
NOTE: Due to changes in contact tracing practices resulting from the large increase in the number of new positive cases, we will no longer be reporting the number of recovered individuals. Individuals are released from isolation (and previously counted in the “recovered” number) when 10 days have passed since symptom onset (or test date for asymptomatic individuals) AND they have been fever-free without taking fever-reducing medication for 24 hours AND they have improvement of other symptoms.
Additional Oak Creek data [updated every Friday]:
- Burden: 1,072/100,000
- 14-day Positivity Rate: 18.5%
- Number of new positive cases over 14-day period (11/25-12/8): 392 [Used to calculate Burden]
