For more than 30 years, the Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has served as an independent organization of persons and businesses interested in assisting the library in developing programs, encouraging gifts, promoting knowledge, and providing a channel for individuals and organizations to express ideas and make suggestions for library use and services. All money raised by the Friends (including membership) is given back to the library.
The Oak Creek Library Foundation Plant and Flower Sale will be held at the Oak Creek Civic Center Atrium, 8040 South 6th Street. The sale will start on Friday, May 3rd from 12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and continue on Saturday, May 4th from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The plants are being provided by Tehan Greenhouses, Inc., 1515 East Rawson Avenue, Oak Creek.
